We did some exciting work this year with Geoptic, applying their Muon imaging sensors at the William Edwards’ iconic bridge in Pontypridd. There have been rumours that the bridge contains additional voids since the late 1700s. Muon tomography allowed us to check whether this was true, without disturbing this grade I listed and scheduled monument..
